You may request for a refund for any fare that allows refunds. Depending on the rules of the fare purchased, a cancellation fee may apply. Most fares are nonrefundable, and are not eligible for voluntary refunds. However, the value of your ticket may be eligible to be applied toward the price of a new ticket for a fee. Tickets are valid one year from the date of ticket issuance.
Change Fee Refunds
In the event that your travel plans change as a result of illness or any other factor, you will be required to pay the applicable change fee at the time of that change. Once this change fee is applied, you may submit a request to have the fee refunded.
Refund on tickets
Ticket refunds will be provided in the event of death and, in some cases, illness and jury duty.
Documentation that shall be produced in the event of death or illness:
In cases of death refunds require a copy of the death certificate. If your change is due to the death of an immediate family member, the request must contain the family member’s name and relationship to you.
If the request is due to the illness of an immediate family member, the request must contain the family member’s name and relationship to you along with a letter (on letterhead) from a licensed physician confirming that travel was not recommended due to the customer's illness.
Surcharges and Taxes
Surcharges that include international and insurance charges will be refunded on the basis of the fare rule. If the fare is non-refundable, the surcharges are also non-refundable.
How to cancel a reservation
We will initiate your cancellation or refund request within one to seven business days. We will NOT acknowledge any verbal or over-the-phone request or voice mail. Verbally speaking with our customer service representatives without sending us a mail requesting us to cancel the reservation will not guarantee that your cancellation has been processed or acknowledged.
Cancellation caused by us or airlines
Refunds will not be paid in the event of cancellations or changes made by us caused by circumstances amounting to Force Majeure including amongst others: war, threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorism, industrial disputes and strikes, natural and other disasters, fire, technical problems with transport adverse weather conditions, closure or congestion of airports and other events beyond our control.
After E-tickets have been issued, in case the Airline cancels the flight for any unforeseen reasons, it`s the Airline`s responsibility to offer an alternate schedule to you. We will inform you about all possible alternate schedules offered by the Airline.
In case you don`t wish to accept the alternate schedule, we will apply for refund from the Airline. In case of Refund, we will only refund the amount that we receive from the Airline, which also means that we reserve the right to not refund the commission or service charge or mark-up which was a part of the selling price and which covers all the direct & indirect expenses incurred by us for issuing your E-tickets.
NOTICE: ‘Force Majeure’ means any event which we or the supplier of the services in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid.
